If you decide that you would like to stay informed about the progress of our project but are not ready to attend events or meetings at this point, we invite you to join our circle of friends. You will be kept informed of our events and happenings via our mailing list. You will be invited to all of our social events and be kept up to date. If at any point you decide to move towards membership, you will be most welcome.
Feeling inspired and want to know more?
- Read the Membership Manual.
- Attend an information session. This orientation gives some background on cohousing, the history of our group and an overview of our current initiatives.
Following the information session, we will send you our membership survey. This is a way for you to tell us more about yourself, your ideas and your concerns. The surveys are shared with the rest of the group but are otherwise confidential. The honesty and personal stories that have been shared in these surveys has been incredibly helpful.
At this point we invite you to attend a social gathering with a few members for coffee, brunch or perhaps dinner. It is an opportunity to get to know each other in an informal setting. You’re also welcome to begin attending general business meetings as an Associate. You’ll join a Committee and participate – all your ideas and opinions will be most welcome.
When you’re ready submit your Application, along with applicable fees.
The annual Membership fee is $240 per year, based on a calendar year. All Membership fees can be paid annually, or in 2 installments.
A discount is provided for single parent households to $200.
